Instructions:-
1. Cut Merino paper, lining & inter lining to 50x40cm Mark centre in both directions. On both long sides
cut out a rectangle10cm x6cm. Cut out a semi circle diameter 12cm from the centre of each short edge.
2. Paint canvas with acrylic paint and allow too dry.
3. Lay Merino paper on top of canvas and secure with a thin coat of craft glue.
4. Using thread threads, fibres & ribbons stitch through canvas & merino paper using chosen stitches.
Counted stitch thread stitches work well but the choice is yours.
5. Sew on beads if desired.
Making Up:-
1. Fold embroidered pieces in half, right & short sides together. Stitch sides seams together with 1cm
allowance.
2. Push seam inwards so that the bottom edge of the sides and the base are together: sew bottom
edge of sides and base together, forming a boxed side. Turn right way out.
3. Make up lining and interlining in the same way. Add pockets to lining as required.
4. Insert interlining into bag with seams inside.
5. Place card base in the bottom of the bag Insert lining, pushing all base corners out together.
6. Align top of all layers. Attach magnetic closures to bag lining about 2cm below centre of semi –circle.
7. Finish top edges by turning and sewing, embellish with fibres or bead trim.
8. Follow wonder knitter instructions with a 30cm piece of plastic tubing inside each knitted tube as it
grows, when completely covered finish as instructed. Repeat for second handle.
9. Sew handle to bag and fish with beads or charms as desired.
